This article presents an overview of term statuses on the admin site and clarifies what each status means for members.
Membership in Tradewing follows cycles, and there are specific terms that define the status of each membership cycle. These terms help members understand their current standing and any actions they may need to take to maintain or renew their membership. Each status is designed to provide clarity regarding the membership's progression, whether it is active, up for renewal, or in need of payment.
These statuses are available in the data export file and can also be accessed in the member list located under the People tab on the admin site.
- None - describes members who are in good standing, with no outstanding payments or balances due.
- Up for Renewal - refers to members who enter their renewal period. Their due date shows up on their profile, which is the last day of the renewal period. The due date disappears when the renewal is paid.
- Payment Needed - refers to members who have an outstanding payment due, but whose payment is not yet overdue. The due date for this payment will be displayed, indicating the last day members can submit their payment without facing additional charges or losing access to their membership benefits.
- Past Due - indicates members who are currently within their grace period. During this time, although their renewal period has ended, they still retain access to their membership benefits for a limited number of days, allowing them the opportunity to renew without any immediate loss of services. - Recently Lapsed - refers to members whose grace period has expired, resulting in a lapsed membership. During this period, members no longer have access to their membership benefits. To regain access, they will need to re-purchase their membership.
- Payment Failed - refers to members whose current payment method could not be charged successfully. To resolve this issue, members can either update their payment method or make necessary adjustments to their existing payment details to ensure the payment goes through.
- ACH Processing -refers to the processing of electronic payments directly between banks. While in this status, the membership remains pending until the ACH processing is finalized.
- ACH Verification Needed - indicates that you must confirm certain information on your end prior to the processing of the ACH transaction. This may involve providing additional details or verifying your identity to ensure the successful completion of the payment.
