This article will guide you through how you can navigate the Integration tab of the admin site
The Integrations tab, located between the Membership and Community tabs in the admin dashboard, offers key visibility into the sync status and data flow between your AMS and Tradewing. Please note that this feature is currently under phased development and is being rolled out gradually based on the AMS in use. As of now, the Integrations tab is available for all associations using Euclid and YourMembership.
Accessing the Integrations Tab
To access the Integrations tab, navigate to the left-hand menu in the admin panel, select Integration, and then click on the AMS Integrations box.
Under Current Integrations, you'll see a list of AMS platforms that are currently available for admin use. If your AMS is not listed here, it means that support for it is still under development. If your AMS does appear under Current Integrations, simply select it to continue.
To sign in to your AMS account, you'll need to validate the connection by entering your API URL, Auth URL, Client ID, and Client Secret. Once these credentials are successfully validated, they will be securely saved—so you won't need to re-enter them each time you access your AMS. After filling in the required fields, click the Next button located at the bottom-right of the screen to continue.
Understanding Member and Group Sync
The Sync tab includes several action buttons that allow you to manually trigger a sync, search for user-specific data, and view detailed insights into your integration—highlighting what has synced successfully and flagging any issues that may have occurred.
The Queue Default Member Sync button provides the functionality to synchronize all newly added members from your AMS. Additionally, it ensures that any members who have been deactivated, deleted, or have lapsed are updated accordingly within the system.
The Queue Group Sync button facilitates a comprehensive synchronization of groups, provided that group sync is enabled. This functionality ensures that all members within each group are updated in accordance with any changes made in your AMS, allowing for seamless integration into Tradewing.
The Queue Full Member Sync function is designed to comprehensively update your member database. This process will not only add any new members but also remove those who have been deactivated, deleted, or have lapsed. Additionally, it will refresh the information of all current members to reflect any updates made on their end. Please be aware that executing a full member sync may require some time, as the system will meticulously review each member from your AMS to ensure all changes are accurately transferred to Tradewing. Depending on the size of your membership base, this process could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to complete.
The Logs button provides you with a detailed overview of the activities that took place during the sync process. This feature enables you to identify any discrepancies in member synchronization and to pinpoint any errors that may have arisen, ensuring a smooth and accurate integration experience.
By clicking on the Logs button, you can customize the date range to review all integration detail logs. This includes insights into whether the operations were successful or if any errors occurred. You can also filter the logs based on the specific operation type, such as Default Member Sync, Group Sync, or Full Member Sync, allowing for a clearer understanding of the synchronization activities.
You may also customize the displayed Sync job log details in the pop-up window to focus on the specific information that is most relevant to your needs.
Under the Schedule Sync section, you can customize the synchronization frequency to suit your organization's needs. For example, if you choose to set the sync interval to every 5 minutes, the system will automatically perform a synchronization every 5 minutes, ensuring that any updates from your AMS are consistently reflected in Tradewing.
The Sync Management tab provides a comprehensive overview of the default fields within Tradewing that are activated for your organization. This section allows you to access the default fields that gather member information from your AMS to Tradewing, which is tailored to the initial setup of your association. Generally, these default fields are designed to extract specific data from your AMS, ensuring a consistent flow of member information.
In the Custom Fields section, you have the flexibility to enable or disable each field, allowing you to control which attributes are reflected in your Tradewing instance. These Custom Fields represent unique data points or member attributes specific to your association that may not be included as default fields in Tradewing.
Upon clicking the Next button, you will be directed to the mapping list for your integration. This list illustrates how the fields from your AMS correspond to the fields in Tradewing. Once you have reviewed and confirmed the mappings to your satisfaction, simply click on the Save Configuration button to finalize your selections.
