Overview of Leads

A lead is a user who has engaged with your company in some way and has the potential to be a future customer. When users visit a sponsor's page and engage with its content, they provide companies with valuable information about their interests. In turn, sponsor companies can gather leads from these users who interact with their sponsor pages. Tradewing captures leads through three primary methods:

  • By monitoring users who follow the sponsor page
  • By keeping track of those users who click the call to action button (by default, it says "Request a Demo" but the admin and company account owner can modify it)
  • By gathering names of users who register and attend a sponsored webinar hosted by the company

By default, only sponsors in the upgraded tiers (Plus, Pro, and Premium) have the ability to view and download leads. Sponsors in the Lite tier can see the total number of leads generated but do not have access to the detailed lead information. This limitation is designed to help associations promote their sponsorship tiers to companies. However, Lite sponsors can request lead access by contacting the Tradewing Support Team.

How to Access Leads

Sponsors can view and download their leads directly from the sponsor dashboard. To obtain this information, simply follow the steps outlined below:

1) To access your leads, start by logging into your Tradewing account. Once logged in, locate your profile photo or initials in the upper right corner of the screen. Click on it, and then select "Company Profile" from the dropdown menu.

2) Select the "Leads" tab located on the left side of your screen.

3) This will take you to a page displaying the leads associated with your organization. Additionally, you have the option to download this lead information as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file by clicking the Download Leads button on the upper right side of the screen.

4) Once you have downloaded the CSV file, you can open it using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. Additionally, this file can be easily imported into marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or any other software you utilize for your outreach.
