How to Upload Event Recording

This article provides clear instructions on how to upload recordings from your past events.

Tradewing supports your archival needs by allowing you to upload recordings of your events. You can also choose to give your attendees access to these recordings, enabling them to revisit the content and catch any important topics they may have missed. To upload an event recording, follow the steps below:

 

1) Access your Tradewing account by logging in, and then proceed to the admin site.

 

 

2) Select the "Events" tab located on the left side of the screen, then choose the "Past" option to view your previous events.

 

 

3) Select the event for which you would like to upload the recording.

 

 

4) Click on the "Recording" tab to proceed.

 

 

5) Under the Recording tab, you can either choose the Link to Video option or Upload a Video.

  • You can use the Link to Video option if you recorded the event using external software and the recording is accessible on their website or cloud drive. Attendees will be directed to the link you provided.
  • If you have the recording file saved on your device, you can select the Upload a Video option to upload the file directly to Tradewing. Attendees can view the recording directly within the Tradewing platform, providing a seamless experience without the need to navigate away from the site.

 

 

6) When you select the "Link to Video" option, make sure to click the "Display on Simple Event Page" button. This will ensure that the link appears under the Recording tab in the Events feed.

Conversely, if you choose the "Upload a Video" option, you must also click the "Display on Simple Event Page" button for the video recording to be visible under the Recording tab in the Events feed.

 

 

7) You can check it out by viewing the recording on the events page.
