Your profile information is accessible to other users when they search for or view your profile. Depending on the configuration of your member directory, some of this information may also be visible there. Generally, your profile includes essential personal details that facilitate networking within your association. While your profile information is publicly available, you have the ability to modify your privacy settings to suit your preferences. This article will guide you through the steps necessary to adjust your profile information privacy settings effectively.

 

1) Navigate to your profile by selecting your profile icon or initials located on the upper right corner of your screen and then select Edit Your Profile.

 

 

2) In the Profile section, you will see your user profile along with the details contained within your profile attributes. To access the privacy settings for your profile, click on the Privacy tab.

 

 

3) In the Privacy section, you will be presented with the various privacy settings that have been assigned to each field. To modify a setting, click on the field you wish to adjust.

 

 

4) You can select from various options available in the dropdown menu.

 

 

  • Anyone: Anyone who can find your profile can view this attribute, including logged-out visitors.
  • Logged-in users: Users (who are not members of your association) can view this attribute.
  • Members: Only members of your association can view this attribute.
  • Only Me & Admins: Only yourself and your association's admins can view this attribute.

 

5) Once you have selected your preferred privacy setting, you will see a green pop-up message indicating that your update has been successfully recorded.
