Changing Profile Information for an Account with an Integration

This article explains how members can change their profile information if their association has an integration with an external AMS platform.

For associations that have integrated with another Association Management System (AMS), certain members' profile information may be managed directly by the AMS platform. As a result, members will not be able to edit their profiles directly on Tradewing and must make any necessary updates through the AMS platform.

1) Navigate to your community profile page

 

2) Click "Edit" under Info

 

 

3) While some accounts allow users to edit their own profile information right in the Profile Info, other accounts are controlled by a one-way integration from an Association Management System (AMS). The necessary changes will need to be made in the AMS in order to reflect in Tradewing.

Tradewing will grey out a field if that information is controlled by your association account.

 

 

4) You may see "Go to your [association acronym] account" at the top right after you click to Edit. Clicking this will lead to the account where you can update your profile info.

 

 

5) You can also hover on the "i" icon here for more information about this button.

If you don't see a button:

Contact your association admin directly in order to make any necessary changes to your Tradewing profile if you are unsure of where to make these changes.

 

 

6) Some fields in your profile might exist only in the online community. Feel free to click into those fields and make edits.

 

 

7) Click "Save" to save any changes.

 

 

8) Click "Stop Impersonating"
