Before adding multiple members, you need to have a CSV file ready of all users you want to add to the community. At least three fields (columns) must be completed: First Name, Last Name, and Email. A complete list of fields available to import can be accessed from the downloadable template shown in Step 5.
Multiple Members
1) Click "Bulk Import" at the top of the People table.
2) Under Operation, click "Insert" to add new members. Click the dropdown to choose the match field (Email recommended).
3) Click the toggle to choose whether to automatically send invite emails to newly added users or not. You can always send them invite emails later via the People table.
4) Click "Download CSV Template" to see all fields you can import and the necessary column headers.
5) Click "Upload CSV File" and select the CSV file of individuals to import into the community.
6) Click "Start Import."
Depending on the number of individuals that you're trying to import, it may take a few minutes to complete. You will receive an email once the bulk import is complete.
Individual Member
1) In the admin site, click "Add Person"
2) Under Personal Details, complete at least the required fields for the individual that you're adding to the community (First Name, Last Name, and Email address).
3) Click the "Account Email*" field to add the email to which the invite will be sent. Each user in your community must have a unique account email address.
4) Select their role in the community (Regular User/Admin/Company Account Owner/Company Page Admin). Regular users is the most common.
5) Decide whether you would like to send the new user a welcome email (it will automatically pull the version you have saved under General Settings in the admin site). You have the option to send yourself a test email as well.
6) To save the individual, add them either as a Member or Non-Member by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom of the page. If you checked "yes" to "Send Welcome Email," the person will receive an email prompting them to complete setting up their password.
7) If you did not check to send the welcome email, after you've added the person, click the "Send invite" button next to their name. Or, click on the three dots next to Account and click on 'Generate invite link' to copy their individual invite link, which you can then personally send to them to log into their Tradewing account.
