Does Tradewing Integrate with YourMembership

This article walks through Tradewing's integration with YourMembership.

Integrations enable two different systems to exchange data, allowing for the retrieval and submission of information between them. Tradewing integrates with Association Management Systems (AMSs) to import individual profiles and groups, and it allows users to log in to the Tradewing platform using their AMS credentials.

Integration Capabilities with YourMembership

  • User Sync makes it easy to transfer user data from your AMS to the Tradewing platform. This helps you manage community access within Tradewing, ensuring that only authorized users can join.
  • Group Sync ensures that member data is consistently updated from your AMS to the Tradewing platform without manual intervention. Whenever a member joins or transitions between groups in YourMembership, those changes are automatically reflected in Tradewing.
  • Single Sign-On enables users to log into Tradewing using their existing credentials.

Integration Setup Process

1. Request your AMS to grant Tradewing API access. Coordinate with Tradewing's Client Support Team (support@tradewing.com) for the necessary information.

What Tradewing Needs:

Rest API Configuration Details

  • Client ID
  • API Key
  • API Password

OAuth App Info (i.e. SSO)

  • Client App ID
  • Client App Secret
  • SSO Login URL

Active Member Types/Definition

  • Member Types that Confer Active Membership (Strings must match exactly as they appear in the AMS)
  • (Optional) Membership Grace Period
  • Test Credentials

After you have gathered this information, please send it to the Support Team for further assistance.

2. Please provide the Client Support Team with details about the specific fields in your AMS that identify active members and designate who qualifies for member benefits. This information will be utilized on the admin side of the Tradewing platform.

3. Please provide test credentials to the Client Support Team to facilitate integration testing. This process typically takes two weeks, allowing us to simulate various real-world scenarios and address any issues that may arise during the integration.
